We understand that construction schedules can change at the drop of a hat. One email from your client can change everything, which is why we’re introducing reservations. If you’re not sure if the date you need to have Utility Locating Services performed on is going to work, or if you’re not sure if your client will approve the work, then we will hold your requested start day for you, free of charge, for up to 24 hours in advance.
Here’s how it works:
We need to estimate your project to determine how many days we will likely need to reserve.
Once we have sent you a quote, we will consult with you regarding your construction schedules and when the best date and time would be for Utility Locator to begin Locating the underground utilities on your site. There is no commitment and no need to approve your quote or estimate.
We will hold your reservation for up to 24 hours in advance of the scheduled start date, excluding weekends and holidays. If you do not provide a notice to proceed then the reservation is released and you may lose your requested start date.
You will never be invoiced or receive a bill for booking a reservation. Because reservations automatically cancel themselves when a notice to proceed is not received, there is no billable time to invoice for.
